The Mayor and his administration released the FY26-FY30 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) on May 12, 2025. You can access the plan by clicking on the hyperlinked title above.  Below are links to specific projects contained within the CIP that may be of interest to Ward 6 residents, that are proposed to be fully or partially funded in FY2026.

Marquand Lane Drainage Improvement Project - Design is completed and pending funding the construction could begin as soon as August of 2025 .

Waste Water Treatment Facility - Critical Resilient Infrastructure Project - This project will protect the WWTF from flooding by constructing floodwalls along the western and eastern sides of the plant to Water Street and by installing two large pumps to reroute internal drainage and remove floodwaters during extreme weather events.

Indian Hill / Storey Avenue Pump Station Upgrades - The project involves design and replacement of existing pumps, motors, and drives. This project is necessary because the drive vendor no longer services the drives, which are approximately 20-years old. If the drives fail, the Artichoke Reservoir System supply would be unavailable to the City.

Water Supply Protection & Watershed Master Plan - This project focuses on developing a comprehensive master plan to guide the long-term protection and management of the City’s watershed and drinking water supply.

Water Meter Replacement Program - Upgrading to new meter technology offers several benefits, including sustaining water and sewer rates by increasing revenue through improved reading accuracy, enhanced leak detection, reduced undetected water loss, improved customer service, increased billing efficiency, and fewer abatements.
